What to know about IUL
IUL is not an investment in the market. Credited interest depends on the index, the cap and participation rates, and policy charges continue every year. It suits some long-term goals and not others.
Caps and floors explained
We walk through the cap, floor and participation rate on each illustration and what they mean for your cash value.
Costs shown
Policy charges, cost of insurance and surrender periods are laid out so you can compare policies fairly.
Carrier-neutral
As an independent agency we compare carriers rather than representing a single company.
No pressure
You get options to review in your own time. Deciding not to buy is a fine outcome.
How it works
Three steps. Free, and no obligation at any point.
Tell us about your goals, time horizon, budget and any coverage you already have.
We outline whether IUL, term, whole life or a mix fits, with the trade-offs.
We quote carriers available in your state and walk you through the illustrations. You decide whether and when to apply.

Honest answers to common questions
What does the IUL review cost?
Nothing. The review and quotes are free, and there is no obligation to buy. If you choose to buy a policy through us, the carrier pays us a commission — you do not pay us a separate fee.
Can I lose money in an IUL?
The index floor protects credited interest from going below the floor in a down year, but policy charges are still deducted. If credited interest is low for a long time, cash value can decline and the policy may need higher premiums to stay in force.
Are illustrated returns guaranteed?
No. Illustrations show hypothetical values based on assumptions. Only the guaranteed columns are guaranteed. We go through both with you.
Is IUL a replacement for a retirement account?
Not usually. Most people should consider tax-advantaged retirement accounts first. IUL may be worth discussing once those are in place, and we will say so if it isn’t a fit.
Is coverage available in my state?
Availability depends on where you live and on our licensing and carrier appointments. If we cannot help in your state, we will tell you directly rather than pass your details on.
What happens to my information?
We use it to prepare your review and quotes and to contact you about your request. We never sell your information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
